Welcome to Emily’s Gardens Design, led by Founder and Garden Designer Emily Bones.

We are passionate about designing and creating stylish, contemporary gardens in Beckenham, Kent, and the Southeast. We work with discerning homeowners who value outdoor space and want to invest in their gardens. Our gardens provide outdoor living space to enjoy, bringing you closer to nature.

We specialise in working with homeowners who are unsure how to make their gardens work for them, or don’t have the time/expertise to create the garden they long for!
These projects include gardens of recently extended/renovated homes, older gardens that no longer meet owners’ needs, or the blank canvas of a new build.

We love to work with environmentally conscious clients seeking sustainability and improved biodiversity. Wellbeing is another exciting area of our work: we can make your garden good for you too!

At Emily‘s Gardens we provide outdoor space tailored to your aspirations and requirements, using our design skills and extensive horticultural knowledge to create contemporary design solutions.

The brief was to create a garden for remembrance, a place to sit and reflect and to be beautiful.

A contemporary 2 level addition to a small, steep terraced garden, utilising more space and bringing together the existing deck and sandstone paved patio on the 2 upper levels.

A beautiful large garden in a conservation area with mature trees and shrubs.

Our Workflow

Consultation

The design process is a collaborative experience. I take time to listen and understand your aspirations and needs for your outdoor space.

Concept Design

This is then translated into a design which goes through several stages, which we guide you through from beginning to end.

Construction

I then work closely with trusted and talented landscapers to build the garden and bring everything into reality.

Hands-on approach

To take the pressure off you I can monitor the build process to make sure everything is being built to plan.
