St Johns Church - Sacred and Community Garden (Large Garden)

The brief was to create a garden for remembrance, a place to sit and reflect and to be beautiful.
This space is enjoyed by the church and local community. We created a new path leading up to the front of the church. Long cedar benches for people to sit and enjoy the space. We also have a beautiful lily bowl planter as a central focal point which sits centrally in the bespoke paving circle which reflects the geometry in the rose window at the front of the church.
The planting is a wonderful mix of trees, shrubs grasses, perennials and bulbs all in a colourway of blue, butter yellow and white, again to tie in with the rose window. It is a lovely restful palette throughout the year.
