The client’s wanted a more usable green living space for some well-earned relaxing and down time from their busy professional lives.
Their children are grown up and they wanted to create a new modern family garden to reflect their changing requirements, including a new stylish terrace area outside the patio doors and a second terrace for relaxing and socialising.
I created a design on curves and lines to bring garden together, focusing on zoning the space with a stepping ( replace steeping)stone path to connect the two seating areas in the garden.
I added interest and focal points with key trees and shrubs.
We contrasted the strong lines of the hard landscaping with soft and naturalistic planting.
