A beautiful large garden in a conservation area with mature trees and shrubs.  Our clients wanted a new layout for their garden including a larger entertaining area which was on a sloping site.

Our clients are both keen active gardeners but wanted to make the garden easier to manage to give them more time to relax and enjoy the space. They wanted a more cohesive design that brought the whole garden together. 

What we achieved:

We created a stylish, spacious, new terrace layout outside the conservatory and dining room opening up the garden, zoning the space for different functions, dining area, breakfast area, sun lounge area. The main terrace to includes a bespoke water feature which has an over spill water fall that can be seen from the house and from different aspects on the patio.

To add interest and focal points further down the garden we added second seating area to lead you down the garden and a different space to enjoy the evening sun.

New spacious sandstone terrace with dutch clay pavers.
Sandstone bullnose steps
Raised bespoke water feature with overspill waterfall.
Raised planting beds, brick and oak, for alpine garden and mixed planting areas
Porcelain paving breakfast area with LED under step lighting
Second seating area millboard decking
Hit and miss style fencing and evergreen hedging.
Planting scheme built around as much of the existing planting and enhanced with new trees, shrubs and perennials with diversity and nature in mind.
