Our garden is small, so we were initially hesitant to hire a garden designer, but we're so glad we found Emily!

Emily is super friendly and attentive to what my husband and I envisioned for our garden. We were blown away when she presented her design- including a 3D rendering of the garden- but her work didn't stop there! Her project management and attention to detail meant the garden was finished to a high standard (we think it looks even better than the design!)

We've been spending so much time enjoying our new garden thanks to Emily's hard work- we can't recommend her enough to anyone looking to transform their outdoor space!

It was a real pleasure working with Emily on a complete redesign of our garden. Emily built great relationships with us and our house builders and beautifully matched the design of the garden with our newly refurbished house.

The design of the garden went beyond our expectations and Emily was so supportive throughout the project. We felt completely involved at every stage as Emily explored ideas for the hard landscaping and set out a lovely planting scheme. Emily’s landscaping team (JR Landscaping Ltd) were excellent in transforming the design into reality, under her close direction.

The garden was complete by November 2021 and has been easy to keep tidy and gives us such a pretty view from our new extension. We look forward to seeing the first full bloom in Spring 2022.

In 2020 we had a new patio area laid in our back garden. We really didn’t know what to choose and wanted to make sure we planted the correct plants for that part of the garden. Emily was recommended and with her expertise and help the whole process of planning, deciding on maintenance levels and agreeing the final plan was fun.

We absolutely love our garden. Last year (our first summer) every day, we saw the garden change, grow and the blast of colour was magical (especially the tulips). We sat with hum of bees all around us. Just fabulous. Emily was a phone call away and the after care service she provides is perfect for a learner like me.

We were so impressed that we asked Emily back to design our front garden too. Another success. People stop and admire our gravel garden. One young girl said that when she looks at the garden “it makes her happy”. Us too!

On behalf of the Clergy and PCC of St Johns Church Beckenham I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your time and hard work over the last few years in planning, designing, refining, overseeing and buying and planting the trees, shrubs perennials and annuals for the Sacred Garden.

The garden looks absolutely amazing. People passing by are stopping to look, some taking photographs to show their families and friends. It is a wonderful haven of peace and tranquillity - a place where one can spend time with God in the beauty of His creation -an oasis of calm in a busy residential area, not just for the church family but for the whole community . And during this time of lockdown, it has given the clergy a place where they can meet up with members of the congregation and the community at a safe distance.

We cannot thank to enough for producing this beautiful garden for everyone to share and not just somewhere to bury the ashes of loved ones.

Words cannot express how happy we are with our beautiful new garden design and planting. It’s exciting to see the new shrubs blossom and mature and we look forward to see how it looks in the autumn and winter ahead. Thank you once again for your inspiration, creativity and patience with us during the long construction.
